Delicious meals and a great variety of à la carte dishes attract a lot of gourmands to the cosy restaurant at our hotel. As an accompaniment to our culinary delights we serve the finest wines from our well-stocked wine cellar.

Our chef Gottfried Götz prepares a wide range of culinary delights at our gourmet restaurant. We are very proud to only stock the finest wines in our own wine cellar.
Cosy atmosphere in the parlours of the restaurant
The cosy parlours provide a rustic atmosphere to make your culinary evening at the gourmet restaurant even more enjoyable and authentic.
Choose from one of the following rooms:
- ‘Georgistube’: the old wood-panelled parlour is the heart of the restaurant and has been a popular meeting point for guests from all over the world for centuries
- ‘Biedermeierstüberl’: romantic room with spruce wood furniture – very cosy with its tiled stove and corner benches
- ‘Salzburger Stube’: Quiet parlour with views of the hotel’s garden – lovely little tables in the corners of the rooms, which are especially popular with couples wanting to spend a romantic candle-lit dinner at our restaurant
- ‘Kaminzimmer’ (fireplace room): enjoy your meal under the old arch with views over the hotel’s garden. In the winter the fireplace creates a homely atmosphere. Whether you want to eat à la carte or are planning a private party for up to 40 people – the ‘Kaminzimmer’ serves as a perfect venue.
- ‘Clubzimmer’ (club room): rustic cosy room for small celebrations for up to 20 people, with access to the terrace and the garden
- Hotel bar
- Guest’s garden: weatherproof sheltered area with a big awning. Enjoy your lunch or dinner under the shady chestnut trees with views over the “Garden of Eden of Salzburg”
Indulgence at the gourmet restaurant
The “Salzburger Stube” is a non-smoking restaurant, which is reserved for our spa guests from 3.00pm to 5.30pm. With direct access to the Vitarium, the restaurant allows guests to wear their bathrobes. In the summer there are several open-air tables reserved for guests spending their spa holiday here or enjoying a day-spa visit to the Gmachl Hotel.
The gourmet restaurant Gmachl in Salzburg also offers you a fireplace room with old arches. Enjoy regional and international delights from the Gmachl menu. You may also want to enjoy your lunch or dinner in the lovely guest’s garden under the chestnut trees. A big awning keeps you sheltered whether it’s raining or sunny.
